DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE OFFERED

Rental of tourist gîtes and unusual rooms.

GENERAL

The tenant acknowledges having read all the characteristics of the establishment, the current rates, the description of the accommodation and all other information he/she wished to know.

DURATION OF STAY

The tenant who signs this contract for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.

ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY

The present contract is established for a determined accommodation capacity. If the number of tenants exceeds the agreed capacity and without prior agreement, the owner reserves the right to refuse the additional persons or to charge an extra fee. Any modification or breach of contract will be considered at the initiative of the tenant.

ASSIGNMENT OF THE RESERVATION

In accordance with articles L.211-11 and R.211-7 of the Tourism Code, the client may assign his contract to a third party, provided that he informs the Domaine Jean Got, at the latest 7 days before the start of the stay, indicating the name and address of the assignee. The transferee will be deemed to have read the general terms and conditions of sale.

RESERVATION

More than 30 days before the arrival date : The reservation will only be final after payment of the deposit of 33% of the total amount of the stay within 5 days and confirmation of the stay by the Domaine Jean Got.
Less than 30 days before the date of arrival : The reservation will only be final after payment of the total amount of the stay within 5 days and confirmation of the stay by the Domaine Jean Got.

PAYMENT

The balance of the stay must be paid 30 days before the date of arrival, without reminder. In the absence of payment of the balance within the time limit, the rental will be considered as automatically cancelled and the deposit previously paid will be retained by the Domaine Jean Got.
If a reservation is made 30 days before the start of the stay, the full amount of the stay must be paid.

ARRIVAL

Arrivals must be made before 8pm. Rentals are available from 3pm. In the event of a later arrival, the Domaine Jean Got must be notified for prior agreement. Telephone messages must be confirmed in writing. In the absence of a message from the client stating that he/she has had to postpone the date of arrival, the rental becomes available 24 hours after the date of arrival mentioned on the booking contract and the full payment of the rental becomes due.
NO DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN FOR LATE ARRIVAL. On the day of departure, the accommodation must be free at 11.00 a.m. at the latest. For any late departure, an additional night (corresponding to one seventh of the weekly rental amount) will be charged.
NO REDUCTION WILL BE GRANTED IN CASE OF EARLY DEPARTURE. In this case, the cancellation benefit is not applicable and is totally excluded.

DEPOSIT

On arrival, a deposit of 200 € must be paid in cash or cheque for any damage caused to the accommodation. At your departure, the dishes must be cleaned, wiped, tidied up, the dustbins emptied, the duvets and mattresses not soiled. Please note that we take the greatest care to provide a clean accommodation on your arrival, but if you notice any anomaly, it must be reported and noted no later than 24 hours after your arrival, no remark will be taken into account after this period. Deposits are returned at the time of departure, but no “pre-statement of condition” will be drawn up the day before your departure. In this case, the deposit will be returned with a possible deduction of the amount of deterioration and/or missing items, or missing or insufficient cleaning.

RATES

The rates indicated are subject to change. The Domaine Jean Got reserves the right to modify the rates at any time. Stays will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force on the day of the reservation, subject to availability. It is advisable to check the applicable rate by contacting the Domaine Jean Got directly. “Any subsequent change in the applicable VAT rate, occurring between the time the rates were determined and the billing of the stay, will result in a correlative change in the price including VAT, which the client accepts without reservation. which the client accepts without reservation. Offers and promotions are not retroactive and cannot be combined.

CANCELLATION FEES

All cancellations or modifications must be notified by post or email to be taken into account. In case of cancellation, whatever the reason, we will keep :
– 100% of the deposit of 33% of the total amount paid if the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the start of the holiday
– 100% of the total amount paid if the cancellation is made more than 7 days before the start of the holiday or if you do not show up.
In all cases, the booking fee is not refunded.

USE OF THE PREMISES

The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the purpose of the premises. Sheets, pillowcases, duvets and towels are provided by the owner. The use of sleeping bags is strictly forbidden.

SWIMMING POOL

The use of the owner’s private swimming pool by the tenant and the persons accompanying him/her is under the full responsibility of the tenant. The Tenant undertakes to respect the rules of safety, hygiene, courtesy and good manners defined by the owner and posted around the pool. Any infringement of these rules authorises the owner to prohibit access to the pool to the offenders.
The Tenant may only use the pool on the days and at the times specified by the Owner. In the event that the use of the pool is impossible (bad weather, maintenance, equipment breakdown, force majeure, etc.), no refund will be made. Any damage caused by the hirer or the persons accompanying him/her will be charged to the hirer.

ANIMALS

The tenant may not stay with a pet without the prior agreement of the owner and expressly mentioned in the contract. If the tenant does not respect this clause, the owner can refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be made. Only animals that are sociable, clean, nonaggressive and not noisy are accepted. The tenant is required to ensure that his animal does not relieve itself in the common areas of relaxation or passage and undertakes to clean up if necessary. The tenant must ensure that his animal does not cause any problems with other animals, children or people present on the premises. In the event of a problem with an animal, the owner reserves the right to immediately require that the animal be muzzled and kept on a leash within the property or to demand that it be removed. If the tenant refuses, the contract will be terminated at his expense.

INSURANCE

The management declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft of objects belonging to the clientele as well as for accidents caused by clients and visitors who do not respect the security rules listed. The tenant must be covered by a civil liability insurance for any damage caused by him and he releases the Domaine Jean Got from any responsibility in case of damage due to falling branches, bad weather, glass breakage, natural disasters, theft. You are responsible for the cancellation and multi-risk service.

RESPONSIBILITY

We decline all responsibility for strikes, theft and accidents on our property and in the accommodation. If the accommodation becomes uninhabitable due to climatic conditions, we will refund the amount paid; any claim exceeding this amount is excluded.

Although Domaine Jean Got does everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible, it cannot be held responsible for the consequences of external events, which would have the effect of reducing or even cancelling your stay. The present general conditions of sale are written in French. In the event that they are translated into one or more foreign languages, only the French text shall prevail in the event of a dispute. In the event of a dispute and after having contacted the professional’s customer service, any client may refer the matter to a consumer mediator within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint, by registered letter, to the professional.
